A Note from Chastin Scharfe:

My parents built this estate in 1987. They raised their four children in this home and it’s been a second home to their nine grandchildren and countless friends. We look forward to the opportunity to share this magical place with other families too. It is a wonderful place for gathering loved ones. It has been a private venue for many reunions, weddings, birthday bashes, concerts, receptions, bridal showers, retirements, and bachelorette parties over the decades. We are now excited to open our space up publicly so others can experience the beauty of this estate and create their own special memories.

My parents, John and Mary Stommel, eloped as teenagers, only three months after meeting. They came from little means but large families which were abundant in love, each had 6 siblings. My parents commitment to each other and to family has been inspirational. They demonstrated longevity, commitment, and persistence. They celebrated 51 years of marriage until my beloved mother recently passed away from cancer. She dreamed of hosting weddings on her estate. She loved lavish weddings since she never had one, and she lived to make other people’s dreams come true.

My husband and I are excited to carry mom’s dream to fruition. We were high school sweet hearts and have been happily married 27 years. We have raised 3 incredible children and are recently empty nesters. As a nurse and a firefighter, we are thrilled to be building this venue together. We are committed to excellence and creating a magnificent space for unforgettable events.
